Daren Cook

Biography

Daren gained a first class honours degree at the world renowned Central St. Martins School of Art before taking his wonderful talent into the corporate world.

With over 30 years of experience in art direction, he has worked with some of the most high-profile brands in the world. During this time he worked on the transformation of Hutchison Microtel to Orange and was responsible for the design of the iconic Orange logo. He also developed the brand for OrangeArrows F1, the team that awakened Formula 1 to the value of branding.

He has also led design campaigns at Citibank, Peroni and Network 3.

Throughout his incredibly successful career as an art director, Daren has been quietly building his own stunning art collections, now capturing the attention of collectors and investors alike.

His simple, bold and occasionally cheeky work playfully explores the relationships between artists and their collectors. He pokes at the questions of rationality and personal perception around art and humorously explores how art is perceived and used as a social language.
